Regarding The Extremely Long Posts

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

I decided to beef up my scrawny blog by adding all of Jeremy’s newsletter emails to it.  He usually does one every week or two.  So in the future, there won’t be ten of them at once.  My goodness, he is long winded though.  I am surprised he is not hoarse.  Consequently, I decided to change my settings so that it only shows summaries of the posts.  I’m assuming that it won’t work and your fingers will just have to be very tired trying to scroll all the way from the top to the bottom.  If it does work, then you can probably click on something and read the whole post.  I, myself, can’t ever figure out how to do that on other people’s blogs, so I wish you the best of luck.

Oh, and check it out!  Categories! And a Blog Roll!  I totally deserve the title of this blog.

Subject: Thanksgiving

We set up the Christmas tree and were just about to decorate it when we discovered that none of the lights work.  We decided to hold off on the decorations until Amber had a chance to buy lights.  Luckily, there is a lot of news this week so my evening will be filled with the joys of typing. Subject: The party

Thanksgiving was skipped this year in NJ.  Everyone is all about Christmas.  The decorations are already out, the shopping has begun, and people are making their holiday plans.  Maybe they should just have a month long Christmas break from work to celebrate.  I’d be down with that.. (more…)

Subject: My Special Day

Tuesday. October 14th

The newsletter is a little late this week as I spent the weekend sick.  Anyways, on to the good stuff.  This last week was exciting, not just because of the talk I had in church but also because it was, by definition, the greatest day of the year!  October 13th for those who have forgotten to mark their calendars. Subject: RE: Milo ‘s Special Day

I think we can all agree that Conference was very good this year.  Silas watched it with me while we colored pictures together.  I enjoyed it immensely.  Milo didn’t want to listen so it was just the two of us.  Silas made my week all week this week.  Its been a very daddy-centric time.  He even made my church week as he was confused as to why we weren’t going to church this week.  I explained to him that this week we watch it on tv.  He protested, exclaiming “But I like church”.  Something must be going right if Silas loves going.  Rather, I should say that the teachers are doing something right.
